DAC7 is a European regulation that ensures income via digital platforms, such as renting out houses, is more visible to the tax authorities. The goal is to combat tax evasion and ensure everyone pays their fair share of taxes.
Digital platforms, such as ChaletsPlus, must report data on the income their users earn. This applies to renting out houses, selling goods, and other services. The regulation applies to both European and non-European platforms active in the EU.
The first time this data had to be reported was in January 2025 for the income of 2024. This will happen every year. Read more about DAC7
