During the winter months, you can use the Gerlos Alpenstraße (Gerlos Pass toll road) free of charge by showing your Gästekarte or the booking confirmation of your accommodation. If you don’t have either, you can purchase a day pass at the toll station. This amount will be refunded when you buy a ski pass at the Zillertal Arena, after that, you can continue to use the toll road free of charge.
In the summer months, toll payment is required, even with a Gästekarte. You can choose between a day pass, weekly pass, or 3-week pass, depending on the length of your stay.
